What is color?
Color is a feeling, an emotion, and a passion. It’s expressed in how you feel when you dress in bright colors versus more muted tones. It is how you feel when you see the inside of your home, or the outside of your house after a long day of work. Because we all see color differently and experience different emotions because of it, color is something deeply personal and private.
For example, when you look at the scenery in the photo above, what do you feel? To me, the colors and the landscape make me feel a sense of peace, tranquility, and quietness—a feeling that you’d rather be nowhere else but right there. There is no stress or chaos, only nature and peace.
This is the reason the color of your home is so personal; it reflects your own passion, personality, and taste. Every person has their own vision of how they want to feel in their space. For my own home, I wanted to feel like I was in Carmel, California. I chose a muted golden yellow for my living room walls to create a European feel. After a long day of work, I can relax in my chair with a glass of wine and a wood-burning fireplace, imagining I’m on a European vacation or Carmel, California.
Before opening this color consultation business, I was sitting in my living room and I thought about how much I wanted everyone to feel this same sense of peace. My goal is to help you find your own vision, your inspirations, and your own peacefulness. When my clients are happy with the end result, it makes me truly happy to have helped them bring their vision to life 😊. I look forward to helping you find your inspiration.

What is home?
Home is truly a place of relaxation, happiness, unity, and love. It is where families meet at the end of the day to gather and share stories. It is where you can finally unplug, cook together, listen to music, and sometimes even dance. Because home is a place where we should always feel happy, safe, and at peace, every space—from the living room and bedrooms to the kitchen and bathroom—is truly special. It is where we create our most cherished memories and where we find the space to relax.
The question then becomes: how does all of this translate to color? Through color, we create emotions, feelings, memories and stories. The wonderful thing about color is that you can change your story anytime you want; simply putting a new color on the wall allows you to create a brand-new story.
Whether your style is modern, rustic, traditional or moody, it is your home and your own personal story. Home is where we share love; it is where the story begins and ends. I hope you are enjoying the peace and comfort of your own home today 😊.
